A book of photos from a trip to several cities in the norther part of India is in preparation. The book is neither a book of travels nor a tourist guide. The main stress is laid on colour photos. The book is written in Czech but the names of cities, palaces and other places will also be given in Hindi, some text will also appear in Urdu. Apart from the information on monuments the text will reflect the author's personal feelings. The book will show both historical monuments and common places as well as the everyday life including nowaday's traffic and pictures taken in the Railway museum in Delhi. The pictures will show animals living freely in the cities. Plants growing on streets, in parks and gardens will also be shown. One of the pictures will show you a statue that you would hardly expect in India. Historical monuments cannot be omitted. The book contains among others Qutub Minar, Jama Masjid, Shahi Sunahri Masjid, Tughlaqabad, Gita Mandir, Fatehpur Sikri. You can of course see the famous Tajmahal.

The book will contain (approximately) 200jpages of A4 size (210 mm x 297 mm) with hard cover. The book will be printed during November 2012 so that it can ship at the beginning of December 2012 and can thus serve as a Christmas gift. Only a limited number of books will be produced and will be available only for those who order it in advance. According to tne number of orders the price will be from 1200 Kč to 3500 Kč (including VAT) + postage (the more orders the lower price). The second impression is not planned unless a very high number of orders are accepted. The book will have no ISBN and will not be available in libraries.
